The denatured, diisopropylphosphoryl derivative of subtilisin Amylosacchariticus, after digestion with trypsin, yielded 11 of the 13 expected tryptic peptides, accounting for 257 of the 275 residues in the protein. All five expected fragments obtained after cyanogen bromide cleavage were isolated in pure form. Sequence studies are described for some of the tryptic and cyanogen bromide peptides.
