The results are given of experiments in which the B 10 and B 11 isotopes were separated in a strong (~10 9 W/cm 2 ) CO 2 laser radiation field which excited BCl 3 molecules with natural relative abundances of the boron isotopes. The B 10 Cl 3 or B 11 Cl 3 molecules were dissociated in the CO 2 laser radiation field and this was followed by the reactions of the dissociation products with various acceptors. The acceptors were O 2 , HBr, C 2 D 2 , NO, and H 2 . The dependences of the enrichment coefficient on the BCl 3 , and acceptor pressures were determined. The separation efficiency was found and it amounted up to 25 % of the molecules of the excited isotopic composition in the reaction zone for each radiation pulse.
