The preparation of crystals of the form KMg(1−x)MnxF3 spanning the entire range of composition is reported. Crystal growth parameters are given. Lattice constants for nine crystals of different compositions were measured at room temperature using the Debye-Scherrer x-ray powder patterns. Measured values of the lattice constants conform to Vegard's law within experimental error.
