Survey of patients taking topical medication at their first presentation to eye casualty.

The only postoperative complication in this series was leakage of cerebrospinal fluid along the implanted cables to the receiver site on the chest w-all. This occurred in two patients, and both were managed conservatively and successfull by rest, flat in bed, for two weeks.
