Bis(phosphinimino)methanides as Ligands in the Chemistry of the Rare Earth Elements

Rare earth element complexes having the very bulky bis(phosphinimino)methanides ligand, {CH(PPh2NSiMe3)2}−, in the coordination sphere are reviewed. The coordination chemistry, the reactivity, and the catalytic application of the corresponding complexes are discussed.
