The structure amplitudes of GaAs and InP are calculated taking into account the nonspherical parts of the valence electron density by means of a static bond charge model. The best known temperature factors and dispersion coefficients are employed. The calculated structure amplitudes should help determining exactly the shape of X-ray diffraction patterns.
