A high‐speed separation of the mono‐, di‐, and triphosphorylated common ribonucleosides has been explored using micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography (MECC). Retention behavior in terms of electroosmotic flow, peak capacity (to/tmc) and resolution can be manipulated by the choice of surfactant type and the concentration in the buffer phase. The relative effects of an anionic surfactant, SDS, and two cationic surfactants, DTAB and HTAB, were explored and optimized to produce an effective separation of the solutes.
