The experimental temperature dependence of the electron mobility mu 2 in the L 1c band of GaSb has been reported earlier. mu 2 is calculated using the relaxation time approximation and assuming initially acoustic, optical (both intervalley and intravalley) and ionized impurity scattering. The values of mu 2 below 200 degrees C are fitted to the experimental data using the intervals coupling constant D 22 as the only adjustable parameter. Above 200 degrees C, however, no satisfactory fit can be obtained unless interband scattering between the L 1c and X 1c bands is also included. With a reasonable choice of parameters for the X 1c band, the variation of mu 2 is fitted over the whole temperature range, and approximate values for the energy and temperature dependence of the X 1c band are determined.
