New upper limits on the extreme ultraviolet flux from Sirius have been obtained with a rocket-borne grazing incidence imaging telescope. These limits are a factor of 10 below previous limits and rule out the existing photospheric model for the generation of 0.25 keV radiation from Sirius B. An upper limit of 30,000 K is placed on the effective temperature of Sirius B. Constraints on coronal models for the system are discussed.
