The polarizations of the resonance lines of 6 Li, 7 Li and 23 Na, excited by electron impact, are calculated close to the excitation threshold using a theory of Percival and Seaton (see abstr. A5439 of 1968). The results obtained are compared with experimental values of Hafner and Kleinpoppen (1967).
