The process of storing a hologram on a photochromic film is considered and equations determining the optimal exposure time for taking holograms under different conditions are obtained. Experiments on storing holograms on photochromic organic films using a He-Ne laser (λ = 0.63 μ) are described. Possible applications of holograms on photochromic films are discussed.
