As Ising model with spins located homogeneously randomly and interacting via a purely antiferromagnetic exchange depending only on the spin separation is an extreme, clearly specified model exhibiting disorder and purely topological frustration. Two numerical studies of such a system, exact Gibbs evaluation and Monte Carlo simulation, have been performed and show no significant evidence for an ordered low-temperature phase in the thermodynamic limit.
