Cases of heemorrhagic nephritis are fairly frequent in young children, but they are not common in very early infancy. Aldrich' records 186 cases of all ages, and groups nephritis under several headings, putting acute postinfectious haemorrhagic nephritis as occurring in 129 instances. Copeman' records cases in children aged eleven and fourteen years. Hanssen7 recorded two cases in young children about four years old.
