The effect of Wolfenstein neutrino-oscillation enhancement on atmospheric neutrinos is considered. The effect of these neutrino oscillations on data from proton-decay experiments is discussed. It is found that for {Δ}M²{~}10^-3--10^-4 eV² and sin²(2theta){≥}3×{}10^-2, νₑ{}ν_μ oscillations might be detectable.
