Computational study reveals enhanced surface heat transfer under magnetic fields in hybrid carbon-nanotube flows, highlighting avenues for optimizing cooling systems around rotating surfaces.
The flow and heat transfer characteristics of anengine oil-based composite nanofluidconsisting of the SWCNT-MWCNT/Waterhybrid nanofluid flow are the main focus of thisstudy. This hybrid nanomaterial exhibits remarkable thermal conductivity attributes andenhances heat transfer in fluids. In the investigation of heat and mass transfer, the out and disksurface-catalyzed effect is produced quickly to complete the chemical reaction. The developedflow model used the bvp5c approach on MATLAB to get the numerical solution. First aconverted the flow model equations into ordinary ones using similarity variables. The analysisconsiders SWCNT-MWCNT nanoparticles and comprehensively describes the pertinentcharacteristics, including temperature, velocity, and concentration sketches. The numericalfindings indicate thatpresence of a parameter leads to significant reduction in the flow velocity ofthe hybrid nanofluid. The research reveals that the surface heat transfer improves with themagnetic field while temperature distribution enhances the viscosity.
