The specific heats of arsenic and antimony have been measured from 0.7 to 4.0^∘{}K and 0.5 to 4.0^∘{}K, respectively. For the electronic contributions we find 0.194±{}0.007 mJ/mole ^∘{}K² in arsenic, and 0.112±{}0.005 mJ/mole ^∘{}K² in antimony. Both values are in agreement with de Haas-van Alphen measurements on these semimetals. The lattice specific heat for arsenic is found to be CL=0.0880T³+0.55×10^-3T⁵ mJ/mole ^∘{}K with ΘD(0)=280.5±1.0^∘K. For antimony CL=0.206T³+0.0033T⁵ mJ/mole ^∘{}K with ΘD(0)=211.3±1.5^∘K.
