Abstract

[Mn(CO)3(μ3-OH)]4, 1, is able to form stable adducts with a variety of guests as a result of O-H….X hydrogen bonding between its μ3-OH groups and hydrogen bond acceptor moieties of the guest molecules. Two such structures are detailed: 1.4H2O and 1.4PPh3O.
