A light scattering photometer is described which is capable of viewing the periphery of the cone of light scattered by a cylinder tilted obliquely to the incident beam. The special case of perpendicular incidence can also be handled. Experimental data with a Pyrex cylinder show excellent concordance with theoretical calculations for a cylinder with a diameter of 525 mμ.
