Instead, surface modifications of natural fibres by different treatments to improve the interfacial bonding, hybridization procedure has also been very fashionable in order to improve the performance of single natural fibre reinforced polymer composites. In present communication, hybrid composites of jute and sisal fibres with polyester resin were prepared using manual method. The jute and sisal fibres were taken in different proportion by maintaining 30 weight percentages of fibres content in each composite laminate. Static analysis of hybrid composites was carried out in terms of flexural, impact and tensile test, whereas dynamic mechanical analysis was carried out in terms of storage modulus, damping, loss modulus and glass transition temperature. In addition, morphological analysis of hybrid composites was also analyzed by scanning electron microscope. The results showed that hybrid composite with higher percentage of sisal fibres (J25S75) exhibited the overall better mechanical and dynamic mechanical properties as compared to other all the composites. Hybrid composite J25S75 offered 13–36%, 10–31% and 6–29% higher values of flexural, tensile and impact strength respectively than those of other composites. From scanning electron microscope analysis, distribution of fibres into polymer and bonding of fibres with polymer were observed. The present hybrid composite can be used in interior parts of automobile, packaging and construction applications.
