Stunting is one of the chronic malnutrition problems among children under two years of age (Baduta). The Indonesian government has made various efforts to provide additional food and additional medicine but has not provided optimal results. This study aims to describe the profile of anemia and inflammatory markers in children under two years of age who experience stunting. This study is a descriptive cross-sectional study that obtained 85 stunted toddlers with various possible underlying diseases using cluster sampling and consecutive sample data collection techniques. The study was conducted at the Palabuhanratu Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Laboratory, Sukabumi Regency, with blood samples obtained from stunted children in the Palabuhanratu and Cisaat areas. Data collection by interview, anthropometric measurements, hematology and inflammatory marker examinations, iron level examinations, and ferritin levels. Research results: suspected thalassemia (20%), iron deficiency anemia (17%), chronic disease anemia (12%), suspected TB (10%), suspected intestinal inflammation (14%), suspected allergic proctocolitis (10%), suspected helminthiasis (11%), and other bacterial infections (7%). There are various causes of anemia and the quality of comorbid diseases in stunted children. Examination of anemia profiles and inflammatory markers is recommended in primary health facilities to determine the type of anemia and comorbid diseases in stunted toddlers. Hematology analysis and chemistry analysis tools need to be provided in primary health facilities.
