Method of off-axis electron holography and investigations of the phase structure in crystals

In the part of this paper devoted to methods, special experimental arrangements for facilitating both the electron microscopical and the light-optical reconstruction step are described. In the section on application, the interpretation difficulties of the phase distribution in the wave field behind a thick crystal and the aspects of high-resolution electron holography of crystals are discussed.
