The θ‐temperature and viscosity constant K0 of radically initiated poly(methyl methacrylate) in acetonitrile were determined from the intrinsic viscosity data (θ = 28°C, K0 = 4,3 · 102 g−3/2 · mol1/2.cm3). The unperturbed coil dimensions are lower in acetonitrile than in other θ‐solvents at comparable temperature and indicate a more compact conformation of poly(methyl methacrylate) molecules. The discrepancies in the reported data of the θ and K0 values are elucidated.
