A new purification method for di-alkyl phosphoric (phosphonic, phosphinic) acid extractants has been developed based on the principle that most of the surfactant molecules exist in the middle phase microemulsion. Comparing with the method of copper salt precipitation and crystallization, this method is much easier and cheaper.
