Status of names of bacterial taxa not evaluated in Index Bergeyana (1966): 1. Names published circa 1950-1967 exclusive of the genus Salmonella

An addendum which includes the names of bacterial taxa published circa 1950-1967 and not included in the Index Bergeyana (1966). All names have been evaluated according to the Rules of the International Code of Nomenclature of Bacteria (1966) and are listed in the same form as that used in the Index Bergeyana. Species, serotypes or new combinations of the genus Salmonella are not included.
