Bioinspired photonic synapses with tunable plasticity are pivotal for next-generation neuromorphic systems. While inorganic oxides, perovskites, and two-dimensional (2D) materials dominate optical synapse research, 2D polymer-based counterparts remain underexplored. This study presents an all-optical synapse constructed from a large-area 2D polymer film, with all synaptic behaviors functioning in the ultraviolet (UV) and blue light regimes. Key synaptic functions, such as paired-pulse facilitation/depression (PPF/PPD) and long-term potentiation/depression, are successfully simulated in this optical synapse. Furthermore, the all-optical synapse effectively performs "AND" and "OR" logic gate operations and is successfully integrated into a novel edge computing system for anomaly detection in indium tin oxide (ITO) glass. This system accurately classifies various types of damage, achieving a recognition accuracy of 98.03% across 32 conductance states during convolution operations. These findings highlight the potential of 2D polymer film-based all-optical synapses for enabling advanced logic operations and integrated edge computing applications.
