A pioneer realization of a new aerial principle has produced a contour map of the sky at 38 Mc/s with a resolving power of about |21/2∘.| The list of sources includes a number with appreciable angular diameters which have not previously been recorded. Some results for H II regions are also given. It is suggested that sources Nos. 18 and 24 represent regions where gas, dust, magnetic fields and relativistic particles occur together.
