The geometrical parameters of the eyelet structure are related to its loop length in both the dry- and the wet-relaxed states. The effects of the structural characteristics of the stitch on its dimensional properties are discussed. Formulae relating the weight per square yard and weight per running yard to the loop length are given and confirmed experimentally.
