Complex dielectric constants ε (ω) of ferroelectrics which have been reported to be well expressed by the “Cole-Cole arc law” are re-examined. Empirical formulae for the ε (ω) do not satisfy the Kramers-Krönig relation. Possible explanations of this fact are presented.
