A periodicity of about 285 days has been found in the 1977-81 radial velocities of the yellow supergiant variable 89 Her (HR 6685) which has a pulsational period of about 63.5 days. This is interpreted as being due to orbital motion around an unseen companion. The orbital parameters are computed and seem to favor the high mass case (between 13 and 24 solar mass) for 89 Her. Several possibilities for the nature of the presumed companion are considered.
