This article explores the new problems that have emerged in e-commerce as a result of the shift to the new media era. It focuses specifically on analyzing the problems faced by buyers and sellers in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia. The purpose of this article is to thoroughly analyze the problems that occur in e-commerce transactions in Indonesia, whether they are faced by the buyer or the seller. This study reveals that alongside its positive impact, e-commerce has introduced a wide range of new challenges. To better analyze the phenomena, a descriptive qualitative method is used as it helps to foster a deeper understanding of specific phenomena. The data is collected from various Indonesian news portal, social media platform, and journal article. This study highlights the importance of e-commerce in Indonesia and emphasizes the need to tackle the arising problems to establish a safe and long-lasting e-commerce environment.
