NetWith the exception of Ber e 1 reactivity, the allergenic profile was quite similar to that observed in patients in a previous study on Brazil nut allergy (3).Pre-absorption of patients' serum with Brazil nut did not modify the birchpollen immunoblot profile.Our results suggest that our patient had primary sensitization to Brazil nut, and that allergens other than the seed storage proteins in Brazil nuts may have a clinical role in allergic subjects.
