Numerous tick collections from areas throughout Oregon between 1967 and 1975 have clarified the distribution of 3 man-biting species, Ixodes pacificus, Dermacentor andersoni, and D. occidentalis. Additional unpublished Oregon records at the Rocky Mountain Laboratory are included (a total of 11,839 ticks) to give full county (spatial) and monthly (temporal) species distributions. A possible new focus of D. variabilis is also included.
