We give a new theoretical explanation to the magnetization process of FeSi based on the spin fluctuation theory without assuming the negative mode - mode coupling mechanism previously proposed to explain the anomalous magnetic properties of this compound. It is shown that the numerical results based on this theory are qualitatively in good agreement with the recent magnetization measurement.
