ESR spectra of bis(N-t-butylpyrrole-2-carboxaldimino)copper(II), Cu(TBC)2, have been obtained in the solid state and in solution. Two g-values, but no nuclear hyperfine coupling, are resolved in the spectra of polycrystalline samples. The ESR spectrum of Cu(TBC)2 in chloroform exhibits a single line. The spectra are consistent with the pseudotetrahedral nature of the compound.
