Computation of heat conduction in self-similar porous structures

In the present paper, we propose another translational-dilation method (TDM) to construct Sierpinski carpets. Based on the proposed TDM, we present a quasianalytic method, the method of self-similar solutions, to solve heat-transfer problems of two-dimensional self-similar structure Sierpinski carpets. The numerical computations are performed for the self-similar solution method. The numerical results show good agreement with those of the finite-difference method.
