The magnetic susceptibility of Cr—Mn alloys with concentrations 0 to 30 wt % Mn have been measured in the temperature range 100 to 950 K. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility curves show a strong anomaly (maximum) at the Néel temperature for all concentrations. In the antiferromagnetic domain a new anomaly was found which goes to the Néel temperature with increasing the Mn concentration and vanish at about 28 wt % Mn. The coexistence of the itinerant antiferromagnetism with the localized magnetic moments is clearly shown especially for high Mn concentrations.
