The Investigations on Crustal Deformation in China under ITRF97 Plate Model using Data of “Crustal Movement Observation Network in China”

Besides setting up the global plate motion models based on the International Terrestrial Reference Frame ITRF97, we establish the latest sub plate models in China based on velocity fields of 79 GPS base network sites set up by 'Crustal Movement Observation Network of China'. In comparison with NNR‐NUVEL1A geological model, our model presents the present‐time crustal deformation at the span of years. As the background velocity field, the Eurasia model based on the ITRF97 velocity fields are recommended to investigate present time tectonic deformation in China rather than NNR‐NUVEL1A.
