Systematic investigations of thermally stimulated electron emission from virgin TGS crystals in vacuum of about 10−6 Torr are performed. It is established that the electron emission phenomena observed are determined by the intensive change (breakage) of the domain structure of TGS crystals. The apparent exoelectron emission and field emission participate in the observed emission phenomena.
