The authors present a 10 Gbit/s lossless tuned and transimpedance pin-HEMT hybrid optical receiver with a sensitivity of –23.5 dBm and a dynamic range of 23.5 dB. The results are the best performances reported at 10 Gbit/s for a pin-based receiver to date.
