It is shown that a pair of thick phase holograms can be used to image extended objects in white light. Investigations reveal that though the illumination is of extended wavelength range, the system still behaves as a coherent imaging system. A resolution test chart is imaged through the system, which shows a best resolution of 30 lines/mm. Experimental results are presented.
