An electronically tunable oscillator is described, which uses two programmable integrators, together with either resistor ratios or capacitor ratios. The frequency of oscillation is electronically tunable over about four decades with bias current/voltage. The circuit is very attractive for implementation in the monolithic IC forms, namely in the bipolar and MOS technologies. Experimental results on the discrete version of the circuit are included.
