The photoconductivity of O2-doped PPS was studied. The oxygen doping was performed by annealing in pure oxygen at a temperature below the melting point of PPS. The photoconductivity of the doped PPS was four orders of megnitude larger than that of pristine PPS. The photo- and dark conductivity were reversible for oxygen doping and deoxidization.
