An interface integral equation is presented for the electrostatic problem in a composite where the components have anisotropic conductivity tensors. The electric potential is represented by a single-layer charge density on the component interfaces. In a simple numerical example involving anisotropic discs, the charge density is expanded in a Fourier series. The integral equation is then solved to high accuracy with a modest computational effort.
