This report deals with gustatory sweating (also known as Frey's syndrome). The condition usually occurs as a result of an injury to the nerves in the region of the parotid gland. Our patient presents an injury to the cervical sympathetic trunk associated with localized hyperhidrosis, and in addition she exhibits a mottled hyperpigmentation in the areas of abnormal perspiration.
