Global distribution of the Pedersen and Hall Currents and the electric potential pattern during a moderately disturbed period

The distribution of the Pedersen and Hall currents and the electric potential pattern over the entire polar region is determined for the first time by using a computer code developed by Kamide et al. [1981] on the basis of magnetic field data obtained from the IMS Alaska meridian chain of observatories.
