The serum phenytoin concentrations were determined for a controlled therapeutic trial in 151 epileptic patients before and after treatment with vitamin D2. The study was made in order to investigate whether there is a drug interaction between vitamin D and phenytoin, in such a way that vitamin D affects the serum phenytoin concentrations.
