Experimental methodology for high‐resolution solid‐state NMR of heavy‐metal spin‐1½ nuclei

The choice of standard compounds for setting up CP MAS NMR experiments on the nuclei 77Se, 119Sn, 195Pt, 199Hg and 207Pb in organometallic compounds is discussed. Spectra of suitable compounds are presented, together with the relevant optimum acquisition parameters (contact times, recycle delays).
