Electrochemical polymerization of methylene blue on a glassy carbon electrode was performed in Na2SO4 solution at pH=2.0.The electrochemical properties of the as prepared polymers modified electrodes were studied by cyclic voltammetry. The result shows that the polymers have high electroactivity and fast charge transfer ability. The morphology of the polymers was investigated by scanning electron microscopy and the structural properties of the polymers were obtained by infrared spectrum.
