The theoretical relations between 13C NMR line intensities and monad, dyad, and triad populations are given. In some cases only approximations are possible. The relations between monads and dyads also between dyads and triads are given. Some necessary relations between line intensities are given which provide a basis for making corrections for differing Overhauser enhancements. Included in the discussion are three lines which have not previously been discussed.
