In this paper, several methods for effective mist formation to maximize the mist formation rate are studied experimentally. With regard to the liquid height, mist was generated for the water level of 15 mm–50 mm, and the optimal water level was 30 mm–40 mm. The amount of mists was larger with a horn compared to that without a horn. As the liquid temperature of water increases, the mist volume increases. The decrease in viscosity would be the reason for the increase in mist volume.
